The Food Lion here in town on East Street in Pittsboro is under renovation.
Shoppers may see bare shelves (no, it isn’t going to snow tomorrow).
The moving of the shelves is expected to be complete February 12.
The entire inside of the store will be undergoing renovation over the next couple of months. Expect a new customer service kiosk, new registers, and many changes inside.
I would expect with the advent of Chatham Park that many commercial properties will be undergoing some major changes over the next several years.
