There is a rumor in the air about Volvo coming to the Chatham-Siler City Advanced Manufacturing Site.
The News & Observer previously mentioned the talks here.
At this point in time, this is just a rumor. According to the article above, Volvo is looking at North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.
Siler City is a prime location for any auto manufacturer.

Update 4/21/2015: According to this article, Volvo is not considering NC.
