If you have driven down Highway 64 Business in Pittsboro in the last year you have likely seen the future home of the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center.
The conference center is scheduled to be complete in Spring of 2016.
This will be a massive 32,500sf building featuring a 6,000sf auditorium.
The land is located on Pitsboro’s Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) and is being built by Hobbs Architects.
According to this article in the Triangle Business Journal, office personnel for Chatham County’s Cooperative Extension, Farm Service Agency, Soil and Water Conservation District and state Forestry Service will relocate to the new Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center.
