Speaker 1: Well, we’re happy to announce that is going to be opening the first of the year, January 2020 officially. It’s open for business right now. The broker in charge is Sherry Allen. She is the top producer of the Siler City area. She does a lot in Randolph County and some in Guilford County. But she’s one of these strongest agents in the area, and we’re lucky to have her.
Interestingly enough, when Realty World Carolina Properties first started out, we had an office in Pittsboro and Siler City. They were owned by myself and Tim Cunnup. Tim was doing a lot of property management, and I was in Pittsboro trying to grow the business. So a very amicable separation or whatever. Tim took the Siler City office and renamed it Realty world Chatum Properties, and we kept Realty World, excuse me, Carolina Properties for the Pittsboro firm. Later on, Tim sold it to someone else, and Sherry was working there, and we opened up a second office in North Chatham. We wanted full coverage for the county in the Western part of the county.
There were some changes going on in Sherry’s office, and so she said, “Hey, I want to stay with the Realty World franchise. Will you guys consider opening up?” And we’re we were thinking about it anyways. So we took the spot clients of ours, Welford and Pat Harris, and David and Valerie Harris have, Welford Harris Ford right there in Siler City. They had an office building that was available right in front of the dealership on Highway 64 right across the street from Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken. McDonald’s is right next door. Just huge traffic count on 64, right off of Highway 421-64 intersection. So we’re happy to be in the Siler City area. Sherry Allen is looking to hire some agents. Several of us are going to be working out of that facility, but Sherry is a top producer on her own. We’re lucky to have her, and we expect big things for that office.
