Eric Andrews, ALC , is a 2020 Realtors Land Institute (RLI) APEX Producer for 2020. Applicants with at least $4 Million of qualifying dollar volume in closed land sales are recognized as part of the RLI APEX Producers Club. Eric sold over $10 Million in Raw Land in North Carolina in 2020.
Interviewer: Did Eric Andrews get any recent awards?
Eric Andrews: I just got the APEX Award for land sales. So amongst the Realtors Land Institute, there’s a designation called the ALC accredited land consultant. And of the accredited land consultants, they have this production award, which I think one of the amazing things was they had over… They had billions in sales this year. And it is kind of funny when we compare North Carolina to Montana or Arizona or Idaho. I mean, some of these cats are selling 10, 15, 20, 35, 40,000 acre tracks. And I get really excited when I sell 50, 60 or 100 acres.
So it’s certainly a big difference, whatever. But the minimum is 4 million in just pure land production, which is really, really hard to do. And this past year I had a little over 10 million in just raw land sales.
That includes the big tracks, some subdivision land. It included some farms. If the homes and the acreage, if there was enough acreage. And then it also included some commercial unimproved properties. So anyways, I’m a member of the Realtors Land Institute, the national and the Carolinas. And we applied for the award. And I think that we were the only ones to win it in North and South Carolina this year. There’s probably about 150 nationally that won awards. But it’s going to be printed in Farms and Land Magazine next month. And the Chatham News and Record’s going to do a little article.
